• This might be the edit for you if: You originally were absolutely not going to get involved in the resurgence of ballet flats, but in the end, the square toe ones kind of do it for you now You at least considered majoring in art history in college Your apartment has a scent story and you are loyal to one particular candle brand out of the holy trinity (le labo, byredo, diptyque) You can’t decide if you want to go to Copenhagen or The Cotswolds for your next vacation
  • You like old houses, and particularly old windows with the thickest of glass Curating the perfect coffee table book collection is an ongoing (at times painstaking) process…that you’re not sure you ever want to be done with The phrase “I have eaten the plums that were in the icebox” hasn’t left your brain since you first read/heard it You know who Judith Jones is and you literally cannot believe how few people do
  • Your favorite reads look a bit like this: One: Semi-obscure, forgotten, or just non-western “canon” author or artist that’s finally getting their well-deserved flowers Two: Contemporary female writers who have received at least one rave from the NYT book review Three: Lit written by someone who just so happens to be a fashion icon as well as a great writer Four: Woman finds herself in lackluster marriage and/or ambivalent about motherhood

The Sapph-Lit

The Sapph-Lit

This June, we’re teaming up with Sapph-Lit Book Club for a limited edition edit that’s all things charged, yearning, and unmistakably sapphic.

For the first time ever, we’re including a brand-new release — Work Nights by Erica Peplin. It’s the official Sapph-Lit pick for June 2025, and the first book in Vignette history to arrive hot off the presses. (Yes, we’re doing new releases now. Just this once. Because it’s that good.)

As always, your edit will include three books. Alongside Work Nights, you’ll get two more titles handpicked to match the theme: poetry or prose by a sapphic author, or fiction or nonfiction that centers sapphic lives, across genre and era.

We only made 40 of these, so when they’re gone, they’re gone. Orders will ship in time to arrive by June 1, though delivery date is not guaranteed (but we’re really, really going to try).
